Lake Worth is located
in Palm Beach County just south of West Palm Beach near the Atlantic
seacoast. A bridge connects the mainland to a barrier island that is
home to Lake Worth’s beach. For years, tourists stayed here for the easy

fine destination on its own, with several blocks of art galleries,
boutiques and restaurants. Lake Worth Municipal Park, also known as
Casino Park, has a beach, Olympic size swimming pool, fishing, picnic
areas, shuffleboard, shops and restaurants. The warm Gulf Stream flows
within five miles of the Atlantic coast in Lake Worth, making it
possible for anglers to sometimes hook ocean sportfish from the Lake
Worth Municipal Pier. Nearby Lantana Beach is a favorite family
destination, which offers an inshore reef, sand dunes, a playground,
restaurant and showers. Many nights in Lake Worth you will find free
concerts by local and regional artists, and sometimes nationally known
professionals. Restaurants in the area are good and plentiful and offer
fresh fish, seafood, key lime pie and other regional favorites.
